I initially picked this class because I was intrigured by the topic and wanted to learn more about how a writing class would intergrate volunteering and community service in the classromm setting. The class was very different than any other english class I have taken in my college career thus far because it centered around the volunteering that took place out of the classroom. The class not only taught me various styles and techniques of writing but also a lot about media. One of the projects that required me to learn new technology skills was the media campaign.
